Why IslamicGems Hijab Pins Are Different!

First ill talk about the dressmakers pin(pin “A”), as shown above. This is the thinnest pin out of the three i will discuss, and therefore the weakest. It can easily bend if not stored properly, and can only be closed by closing cap “A” or “B”,(shown below) closing cap “C” will be too heavy and this pins point is to small to keep cap “C” on. It can also be easily misplaced because of its size. It comes in many different lengths starting from 3″. This pin already has a small bead on top to begin with so what many hijab pin makers do is buy these pins and add more beads to enhance it. This pin is good for consumers looking for something simple and disposable.
Second pin i wanted to mention was the stick pin with loop (pin “B”). This pin is of better quality then the dressmakers pin, but still not the best available. If a slightly heavy charm is hung from it, over time it can bend the pin, giving an awkward bulge in your fabric if the pin is too long. Also same as the dressmakers pin if not stored properly it can be easily bent. So it is not a pin you can just throw into your purse or drawers carelessly without damaging it. This pin is only good for dangling hijab pins since the loop is not designed for straight stick pins like the dressmaker pin. Still the benefit of the loop hides the pin snugly into your hijab just displaying the beauty of the charm. This pin is good for consumers who lean towards dangling pins, and give more importance to the charm on the pin then its stick.
The third and last pin (pin “C”) I wanted to discuss is a stick pin with a slight flat head. It can be used as a dressmakers pin is, or looped to easily hang a charm. It is the most sturdy and durable, which you can clearly see from comparing all three images and their thickness’s. The points on all three pins are equally sharp and therefore does no damage to the fabric. This pin will not bend or break because of careless use, like the other two which definitely makes it worth its money. While used as a straight pin it hides the flat head, only showing off the beads, and when looped, tucks away in the hijab displaying only the charm. This pin also comes in many lengths such as 2.5″, 3″, 5″, and 8″. This pin is good for consumers looking for somethign which will be sturdy and long lasting, making their money worth the buy.
This is a rubber clutch (”A”) which has openings on both ends, this is the cheapest quality available, because of its material it can tear overtime. Also because of having two openings an unsightly and unsafe pin point is visible on your fabric.
This is a metal clutch (”B”), a lot better then the rubber clutch, this clutch is very sturdy and is very long lasting, but this one also has the two opening which make visible the unsightly and unsafe pin point on your fabric.
This is a bell clutch (”C”). It is a combination of “A” and “B”. It is a metal clutch which makes it very long lasting and sturdy, with a rubber interior, which makes it easy for the pin to cling on to something. It only has one hole, so their is no way the pin point can come out from the other end.
